Sergio Romero gets a second straight call-up after his excellent display in Sampdoria's 3-1 win over Roma, which included a penalty save from Pablo Daniel Osvaldo's spot-kick.
Juve may be missing their defensive rock on one side of the field, but on the other Andrea Barzagli turned in a top effort in the 2-0 victoryover Fiorentina, while Andrea Ranocchia immediately made up for some organisation at the back with a fantastic headed goal which led Inter to a 3-1 success against Chievo. One of the candidates for Goal of the Week was Hugo Campagnaro's thrilling strike against Lazio which earned Napoli a point.
Udinese's silent march up the table continued thanks to Roberto Pereyra's winner against Torino, while Arturo Vidal was back to his blockbusting best in the middle for Juve. Cagliari's disappointment at missing out on the full three points against Milan will not have been felt more than in the heart of skipper Daniele Conti, who was inspirational in the absence of some key players in the Isolani starting XI, and Andrea Bertolacci came as close as anyone to earning Genoa a crucial win as they gained another important point from their trip to Parma.
Antonio Cassano opened the scoring somewhat fortuitously for Inter against Chievo, but there was no luck involved in his impact as the Nerazzurri dominated much of the fixture at San Siro. Another Sergio Floccari goal was so nearly enough for Lazio to pick up a huge win over Napoli, but Gianluca Sansone ensured that his goal came in a winning effort by adding two assists as Sampdoria punished Roma for a lack of bite when it mattered thanks to the substitute's impact.
