Federico Marchetti was one of only three keepers to earn a clean sheet, and his performance saw Lazio past Inter.
He's joined in our side by Daniele Portanova, the late goal hero for Bologna at Napoli, while Giorgio Chiellini was exemplary for Juventus against Atalanta. Manuel Pasqual takes the final defensive slot after sending in some superb crosses and being sturdy off the ball in Fiorentina's convincing victory over Siena.
Panagiotis Kone's stunning equaliser against Napoli helped to set up Bologna's surprise win, and Andrea Pirlo was on the mark with a fabulous free-kick in Juve's 3-0 success over Atalanta. David Pizarro returned after a traumatic week to score from the spot and drive Fiorentina around the park from midfield in their big win, and Josip Ilicic's strike put Palermo ahead in their eventual 1-1 draw away to Udinese.
Miroslav Klose was Lazio's hero once more as his late goal saw off Inter, and Luca Toni score two in Fiorentina's 4-1 win over Siena. His haul was matched by Ishak Belfodil's double in Parma's comeback win over Cagliari.
