The Barcelona star put in an exceptional display against Levante on Saturday, notching three superb assists and one stunning strike in a 4-0 win for the Blaugrana, and his performance earned him nearly 30 per cent of the vote in Monday's poll.
Iniesta narrowly pipped Philippe Mexes to the prize - the AC Milan defender followed up a sensational overhead-kick goal against Anderlecht with a fine defensive display to help his side defeat Juventus, earning him just over 28% of the vote.
Mario Gotze, who was named as World Player of the Week by our panel of experts following two scintillating displays for Borussia Dortmund, finished down in third place with a score of 21%.
Felipe Melo came in fourth spot with 12.61% of the vote after his heroic display for Galatasaray, in which he saved a last-minute penalty against Elazigspor following Fernando Muslera's red card.
John Bocco, Tanzania's two-goal hero against Sudan, finished in fifth position, securing just over 8% of your backing.
