Juventus 1-3 Inter

Juventus' remarkable unbeaten run was finally brought to an end by Inter on Saturday, with Diego Milito proving to be the hero for Andrea Stramaccioni's men on the big occasion.

Having scored a penalty in the midweek win over Sampdoria, the Argentine striker once again showed his mettle from 12 yards after winning the spot-kick himself to level the scores following Arturo Vidal's controversial opener.

And the veteran's poaching instincts kicked in with 15 minutes left to play in Turin as he slotted his side into the lead after Gianluigi Buffon could only parry Fredy Guarin's shot into his path, before Rodrigo Palacio's late goal completed the comeback and inflicted the first defeat in 49 games on the Bianconeri.

The 33-year-old now has seven goals in Serie A this season, and boasts a total of 27 strikes in 31 appearances in the calendar year - only Lionel Messi and Cristiano Ronaldo have a better record.

Congratulations to Diego Milito, Goal.com's 181st World Player of the Week winner!

Honourable Mention
Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang -
Saint-Etienne

The Gabon attacker came off the bench to change the game at Parc des Princes, forcing Mamadou Sakho's unfortunate own goal before coolly adding a second to inflict a first Ligue 1 defeat of the season on Paris Saint-Germain.
Wilfried Bony - Vitesse

The Ivory coast striker took his tally to 12 goals in 11 Eredivisie games this season as his side secured a 2-0 win against Ajax, ending the champions' unbeaten start to the domestic campaign.
Facundo Ferreyra - Velez Sarsfield

The 21-year-old was in sensational form at the weekend, bagging a hat-trick and providing an assist as El Fortin ran out 5-1 winners away to Arsenal to keep within a point of league leaders Newell's Old Boys.
Roberto Soldado - Valencia

The No.9 eclipsed his fellow striker Radamel Falcao on Saturday evening, volleying his side into the lead in sublime style as Los Che went on to beat Atletico Madrid 2-0 and end los Rojiblancos' unbeaten run.
Dan Sserunkuma - Gor Mahia

The Ugandan striker struck a superb hat-trick as Gor Mahia won 4-0 at Muhoroni Youth, taking his tally for the season to 17 to move level with top scorer John Baraza in the Kenya Premier League.
