Each team shown in the schedule below will have three candidates nominated by our panel of experts, and those players will be listed in alphabetical order. After a full run-down of each player's stats, contributions, and a recap of their season in the domestic league and cup competitions as well as in Europe and other major club tournaments, our Player of the Season for the respective club will be chosen before allowing the readers to have their say. It all kicks off this Monday with dethroned European champions Barcelona, Londoners Arsenal and Dutch giants Ajax.
