Andrea CONSIGLI
Atalanta

| Inter were a sore sight to watch on Sunday in San Siro and Consigli ensured they did not escape with a win. He got down well to save Diego Milito's penalty, before denying a Walter Samuel header and an Andrea Poli piledriver throughout the 90 minutes in the 0-0 draw. |

| Manfredini and Heinze, two of our back three, remain from Round 27. Another of the brave Atalanta rearguard was the centre-back as he constantly showed little regard for anyone in his path when winning the ball in the air, even suffering from some heavy challenges in the process. Meanwhile, the Argentine kept Roma's defence fairly tight against the threat of Rodrigo Palacio and Alberto Gilardino as the Giallorossi shut out Genoa. Legrottaglie has been one of Catania's unsung heroes this season, but received all the plaudits when he bagged the winning goal against Lazio as the Sicilian side continue their fairy tale campaign. But even more impressive was the manner in which he nullified the threat of Germany international Miroslav Klose. |

Marco RIGONI Novara TOTW Apps: 4 |
Urby EMANUELSON AC Milan TOTW Apps: 2 |

| Pinzi played an influential role at the Stadio Friuli. His lung-bursting runs from midfield saw him tuck away the opener before crashing a header off the post that led to the rebound being volleyed in by team-mate Antonio Di Natale in the 2-2 draw versus Napoli. Pirlo continued his remarkable form this season, pulling the strings in midfield against 10-man Fiorentina with ease and also applying a cheeky finish to Juventus' fourth goal during their Saturday night demolition. Novara's mini revival could be too late to help them avoid relegation, but the quality of football from Rigoni remains at a consistent high. The midfielder makes a second consecutive appearance in our Best XI due to a spirited display at Siena that saw him fire in the winning goal in their 2-0 victory. Meanwhile, Emanuelson was guilty of missing a couple good chances to add to his fantastic solo goal against Parma, but after he had already won a penalty converted by Zlatan Ibrahimovic, he was indeed the decisive force in the league leaders' 2-0 victory, ensuring that Kevin-Prince Boateng and Clarence Seedorf were not missed. |

Edinson CAVANI Napoli TOTW Apps: 3 |
Mauricio PINILLA Cagliari TOTW Apps: 2 |
Mirko VUCINIC Juventus TOTW Apps: 1 |

| Napoli looked down and out after Cavani's scuffed penalty was saved by Samir Handanovic when Udinese were leading 2-0, but his reaction was nothing short of extraordinary as he scored two remarkable strikes to earn a draw. His first was straight from a free kick, before he controlled and fired low and hard at the near post for his second of the night to salvage the third-place hopefuls a point. Another South American, Pinilla, looks to have been a shrewd winter singing by Cagliari as was once again on the scoresheet with a hat-trick to heap further misery on bottom side Cesena. Finally, the Juventus' troubles in front of goal ceased as Vucinic came alive to produce his best display in a black and white strip yet. The Montenegro international scored the opener with a fine shot from the edge of the area before setting up further goals for Arturo Vidal, Claudio Marchisio and Andrea Pirlo as they waltzed to a 5-0 triumph at Fiorentina. |
