David Moyes' side failed to register a shot on target as they crumbled to a 2-0 defeat in Athens - but was this their worst performance under the Scot?
Manchester United now have a mountain to climb in the Champions League after slumping to a 2-0 defeat away to Olympiakos on Tuesday evening.
Goals in each half from Alejandro Dominguez and on-loan Arsenal forward Joel Campbell have ensured the Greek champions will head into the second leg at Old Trafford with the advantage, while David Moyes will be left concerned by such a toothless display.
The defeat in Greece has been typical of United’s inconsistent season which has been littered with abject performances, such as the 2-2 draw at home to Fulham earlier this month, the 3-1 loss away to Chelsea in January and the 1-0 defeat to Newcastle United at Old Trafford in December.
But was the capitulation at the hands of Olympiakos, a match in which Moyes’ had just one shot on target, the worst performance United have registered this season?
Was the defeat to Olympiakos the worst performance of United's season - or can you think of a poorer display?
