The Serie A giants beat the Catalans 2-0 in the first leg of the round-of-16 tie, but the Brazilian expects a difficult match when both sides meet again at Camp Nou.
"Barcelona have a great team, but anything can happen in football and beating Milan will not be easy for them," he told Cope.
"They will make life difficult for us, and I expect a difficult match. We are ready for the task at hand, though.
"I don't think that we should only try to defend our lead. We have plenty of quality and must attack and defend well. We should play our own game in possession and try to score."
Milan were eliminated in the quarter-finals of the Champions League by Barcelona last season, and will be determined to make amends on Tuesday.
