The former AC Milan attacker is optimistic about his old club's chances of progressing in the Champions League at Camp Nou on TuesdayAndriy Shevchenko believes AC Milan have every chance of reaching the quarter-finals of the Champions League at the expense of Barcelona, who have become "vulnerable".
The Rossoneri beat the Blaugrana 2-0 at San Siro in the first leg, and Shevchenko has little doubt that his side can seal the deal in Tuesday's return.
"I am confident Milan can progress, even though the 2-0 from the first leg is not enough to be completely sure," the former Ukraine star told La Gazzetta dello Sport.
"Barcelona are one of the strongest teams in the world, and you can not write them off just because they lost to Milan and Real Madrid.
"However, it is clear that they are vulnerable and are going through a difficult period at the moment. A lot of players are not on top of their game and they have some problems in defence."
Tuesday's encounter at Camp Nou is scheduled to kick off at 20:45CET.
