Malouda left out of Chelsea's Champions League squad
The Frenchman has been omitted from the Blues' squad for their European campaign after falling out of favour with manager Roberto Di Matteo
Florent Malouda has been left out of Chelsea's Champions League squad for the 2012-13 season.Despite interest from a number of clubs, Malouda did not finalise a move before the end of the transfer window, with his wage demands rumoured to be a barrier to a move.
However, despite remaining at Stamford Bridge and making 26 league appearances last season, the 32-year-old is yet to feature for the Blues this season in any competition.
The west London club have excessively strengthened their attacking ranks this summer recruiting the likes of Eden Hazard, Oscar and Marko Marin, pushing the France international down the pecking order.
All summer signings, including Cesar Azpilicueta and Victor Moses, have been included in 33-man squad, consisting of 25 ‘A-List’ players and eight ‘B-List’.
