The Portuguese will be watching the match from the stands due to suspension, but has instructed assistant Aitor Karanka to send out a his best XI in Croatia
Real Madrid coach Jose Mourinho has named his strongest possible line-up for tonight's Champions League Group D opener against Dinamo Zagreb in Croatia.

Mourinho, who will watch from the stands as he continues to serve a suspension following his comments after last season's Champions League semi-final first leg defeat at home to Barcelona, has once again opted for Fabio Coentrao in midfield alongside Xabi Alonso in the absence of the injured Nuri Sahin, with Cristiano Ronaldo, Mesut Ozil, Angel Di Maria and Karim Benzema all included in a strong forward-line.

Madrid will play the match in their new red kit tonight.

Dinamo, meanwhile, will line up in a more defensive-minded 4-5-1 as they look to frustrate their illustrious visitors.

Ajax and Lyon feature in Group D's other match.
