Former AC Milan captain Cesare Maldini has warned Barcelona to keep going until the very end in tonight's Champions League final, as Manchester United are specialists in leaving it late.
Speaking to Radio Sportiva, Maldini analysed the game at Wembley and he picked out United's never-say-die attitude as something that the Catalan giants must be aware of.
He stated: "The Spanish side have slowed down recently in their last games in the league, while the English team distinguish themselves on their invincible spirit which leads them to never give up."
Maldini played against the legendary Eusebio in the 1963 European Cup final which Milan won 2-1, and when asked to compare the Portuguese with Barca star Lionel Messi, he stated: "These are two different eras.
"The way of playing is very different. In tonight's game there are incredible players who have made history for their clubs like Messi and [Wayne] Rooney."
Kick off at Wembley is at 20:45 CET.
