Barcelona - Real Madrid special: Final Clasico to spring a surprise?

We preview the best market's for tonight's contest between Spain's big two
Match Odds: Barcelona 1.70, Draw 3.60, Real Madrid 5.0 (William Hill)
Barcelona to qualify @ 1.01
Real Madrid to qualify @ 17.0

Three games, five goals and five red cards later the Clasico series draws to a close at Camp Nou. Following Barcelona's 2-0 win in Madrid the bookies make the Blaugrana a tiny 1.01 to reach another final at Wembley.

Optimistic Real Madrid fans can back their team to turn the tie around with a win @ 5.0 and to reach the final @ 17.0. To do that they'll need to score on the ground of their great rivals for the first time since December 2007, while Jose Mourinho hasn't savoured a win at Camp Nou since he was assistant to Louis van Gaal at the club back in 2000.
Let's take a look at some of the betting options available on Clasico IV.

Barcelona Tips

The Blaugrana haven't sampled a home defeat to their fiercest rivals in over three years and with one foot in the final are expected to finish the job. A price of 1.70 is unlikely to be bettered on Barcelona at home for quite a while and lest we forget they thrashed Real Madrid 5-0 when the teams last met in Catalunya.

A repeat of that five-goal demolition checks out at 67.0. Lionel Messi failed to score that night but has netted all of his club's three goals in the Clasico series. He's 3.75 to score first/last with the price trimmed to 1.61 to be on the mark in 90 minutes.

Pep Guardiola can almost smell the Wembley final so we are unlikely to see as much of the gamesmanship as we did at the Bernabeu. Picking up a needless caution could have massive consequences for a potential final so the price on under two cards for the hosts looks inviting @ 2.70.

Real Madrid Tips

Madrid must win but will have to do without the services of Pepe and Jose Mourinho.

When the teams last met at the semi-final stage of the Champions League in 2002 they won the away leg 2-0. A repeat of that is 26.0.

Real Madrid will want to salvage some pride and can be backed @ 2.60 to win either half.

Emmanuel Adebayor will do his chances of earning a permanent contract no harm with a big performance. He's 8.50 to open the scoring and a worthwhile 3.25 to score during the game.

"Both sides suffered shock reversals in La Liga this weekend. If you'd backed that unlikely double with William Hill you would have received odds of 84.0.

"All the evidence suggests that Barcelona are just too good for the old rivals and when the game starts to go against Real Madrid they could result to kicking out and have a man sent off (it's just 2.25 for a red card in the match). That could lead to another embarrassing scoreline for Los Blancos.

"I would back Barcelona to be winning at both half-time and full-time at odds of 2.60 and in the correct score market 3-0 at 13.0 looks the best bet. David Villa to score first @ 5.50 also appeals.

Tip: Barcelona to win @ 1.70
