The Czech shot-stopper feels that the Blues have a 'mountain to climb' at Old Trafford after wasting their chances against Sir Alex Ferguson's side after a narrow defeat...
Patrice Evra appeared to catch Chelsea midfielder Ramires just inside the area and Cech feels that the referee should have awarded a spot-kick that could have levelled the game.
“I think everybody saw what happened, you can see it clearly on the telly, but the most important person didn’t see it, that’s the main thing,” he told ITV.
“We lost the game 1-0 and we gave ourselves a mountain to climb in Manchester but we have to do it.”
The Chelsea ‘keeper also believes the difference between the two sides was United’s ability to take their chance when it came.
“We missed a goal and I think we created chances, that was the key. They had their first chance and they scored a goal and we had some shots but we didn’t score. It makes the difference," he said.
“They played a clever game, tactically they had players that were waiting for a counter attack. They fought and they got the goal that changed the game.”
