Reigning French champions Olympique de Marseille held Manchester United to a scoreless draw in Wednesday's Champions League encounter and defender Rod Fanni pointed out that Les Phoceens could have got a better result in the home game.
"We feel like we could have got a better result but we're not going to be greedy," Fanni was quoted as saying on the official UEFA website.
"The goalless scoreline puts us in a decent position. We matched United and at times we got on top of them.
"When you look at the chances, Steve Mandanda didn't have much to do. That shows we were solid, stuck together and turned in a serious performance.
"After the game, we said in the dressing room that the hardest part is still to come. We know it won't be easy at Old Trafford."
Marseille travel to Manchester for the second leg on March 15.
