The two teams met in the quarter-finals of the competition last season with Pep Guardiola's side progressing through to the semis 6-3 on aggregate after drawing 2-2 at the Emirates in the first-leg and then winning 4-1 at Camp Nou.
Barcelona are in great form at the moment and lead the table in the Primera Division but Fabregas believes that the Blaugrana are not invincible.
"This is not some mission impossible," the 23-year-old is quoted as saying by ESPNSoccernet. "We can win this. Barcelona are not unbeatable. If they were invincible, they would win the Champions League every year.
"Manchester United, Chelsea and Liverpool have knocked them out in recent years. Maybe it's our turn now - and why not?
"If we want to be champions of Europe, we have to be able to beat anyone and everyone - and that includes Barca."
