thumbnail Hello,

Shakhtar Donetsk forward Luiz Adriano was delighted after his side's win against Sporting Braga.

Shakhtar Donetsk struggled at times in their Champions League match against Braga on Tuesday evening, but the Ukrainians eventually cruised to a 3-0 away win courtesy of two goals from Luis Adriano and a converted spot kick from Douglas Costa.

"The two goals were important because they helped us get the win. It is important to have six points ahead of two difficult games against Arsenal and the trip to Partizan, who are strong at home," said Luiz Adriano to uefa.com.

"Braga started very well, attacking us and getting efforts on target. In the second half we began to attack more, improved quite a bit, and ended up scoring our goals. The experience we have in the Champions League counted a lot and helped determine the final result.

"I think we're on the right road. Six points is useful, but we have to go away to Arsenal next. It's going to be difficult because they're a great team. But we hope to get a result and go to the next phase. That's our objective."
