Inter midfielder Thiago Motta admits that this evening's match against Chelsea in the Champions League was one of his best since joining the Nerazzurri last summer.
Playing in a two-man midfield, the Brazilian revealed that it was not difficult to do, considering the strikers playing in front of him.
"It was a fantastic match," Motta told Goal.com Italia. "Playing with two midfielders was not as difficult as first imagined, because I had attackers like [Goran] Pandev and [Samuel] Eto'o who dropped back a lot.
"It is more tiring for them to continuously come back and help us. I knew that I would be playing in this match, and I was ready to do so, as every player should be for every game.
"I am very happy because it was one of my best matches. The critics in the past were right to say what they did, because when someone plays badly, they are right. I know that I can do better," he summed up.
