The Cameroon international's goal was the difference between the two sides...Inter hitman Samuel Eto'o does not want to take any of the credit for scoring the decisive goal for the Nerazzurri against Chelsea in the Champions League.
"I don't think it was due to my goal, because a player on his own cannot make a difference," the Cameroon international stated to Sky post-match. "It was a team effort, and we were able to work together to do so.
"The important thing for us is to continue to play like this.
"As for my position on the pitch? Moruinho had spoken to me over the past few days, and told me to play more along the wings. It was not a problem for me, because I am available to play anywhere for the team.
"What I will say is that [Wesley] Sneijder was exceptional this evening, as he set up two opportunities for me to score. The first, I was unable to beat the goalkeeper one-on-one, but the second time, I could not miss," concluded Eto'o.
