thumbnail Hello,

The midfielder could not contain himself, as the Nerazzurri progressed to the quarter-finals...

Inter midfielder Wesley Sneijder is pleased that his side were able to travel to London, take on Chelsea, and come away with a victory, seeing them progress to the quarter-finals of the Champions League.

The Dutchman supplied the assist, which allowed Samuel Eto'o to score the solitary goal of the match, but the tie could have been over earlier had things gone the Nerazzurri's way.

"Our idea was to score at least one goal to force Chelsea to score twice," Sneijder told UEFA post-match. "We wanted to win this game, as it was our aim, and the best way to qualify.

"I think we could have put two or three goals in before the first goal. We had some luck along the way, but we fully-deserved it," he added.
