thumbnail Hello,

'Super Mario' heading to Stamford Bridge…

According to reports in Italy, Inter starlet Mario Balotelli is en route to Stamford Bridge to watch his team-mates take on Chelsea.

The youngster was controversially left out of the Inter squad for the encounter at Stamford Bridge this evening following reports of another training ground spat with coach Jose Mourinho.

Sky Sport24 report that 'Super Mario' is flying to London to watch the game from the stands and that he is keen to meet the side before the match and apologise to Mourinho in front of his team-mates.

The Italy U-21 international's exclusion from the squad has been a major talking point going into tonight’s match with some reports suggesting the 19-year-old’s latest bust-up with ‘The Special One’ may have signalled the end of his Inter career.

However, Balotelli is held in high regard by president Massimo Moratti, who thinks he will play a major role in the Nerazzurri’s future and Mourinho is said to feel the same, despite their tumultuous relationship.
