Fiorentina Striker Stevan Jovetic: We Deserved To Progress To The Quarter-Finals
The forward may have scored a brace this evening, but it wasn't enough to see his side advance to the next phase of the tournament...

Fiorentina hitman Stevan Jovetic says that he was inspired to play well against Bayern Munich this evening, but his two goals weren't enough to help his side progress to the quarter-finals of the Champions League.
Jovetic is most disappointed at the fact that the Viola allowed Arjen Robben to score once the team had a 3-1 advantage, which would have allowed them to go through.
"We did our absolute best, we were winning 3-1 when Robben scored," the 20-year-old stated to Radio Blu. "If we look over the entire 180 minutes played, we did deserve to progress.
"I was inspired to do well, and if one isn't when they play in the round of 16 in the Champions League, then I do not know when one will be. A lot of times, we play well, but it does not count for much.
"Our attention will now turn to the Coppa Italia against Inter. We know that it will be difficult, but we will give it our all.
"In the league, there are still many matches to go, and I hope that I can score a lot of goals.
