Negredo fired Los Nervionenses in front Moscow only to see his side pegged back by a wonder goal from Chilean winger Mark Gonzalez and he feels that goal leaves his side with work to do in Andalucia.
"I'm thrilled by get first goal in the Champions League, but it's a shame it has not given us a victory," he told AS.
"That goal complicates things. We have to try to stop the Russian's scoring at the Sanchez Pizjuan. The draw has kept us on track to progress."
Sevilla are looking to book a place in the quarter-finals of Europe's premier club competition for the first time in their 104 year history.
