Bayern Munich's Franck Ribery has confirmed that his club's performance in the Champions League "will have an influence" on his decision whether to stay with the German club at the end of the season.
In comments reported by Marca, the Frenchman spoke of one of the determining factors in making his decision. "The way we finish in the Champions League will naturally influence my decision. For me, results on the pitch come first and seeing how we are playing, we have an opportunity to do well in this competition."
Having said that, the Frenchman acknowledged that the Bayern squad was "not as good as Real Madrid or Barcelona" but that "when the team is in form, the starters can play at the very highest level".
Ribery has been linked to summer moves to Real Madrid, Barcelona and Chelsea, and in early February declared that he would sign for "the club that gives me the opportunity to win the most titles".
