Young Gunner thought everything went well in Greece…

Champions League: Olympiakos v Arsenal / Galletti (INTIME)
Arsenal youngster Tom Cruise was pleased with the way his senior debut went on Wednesday night at Olympiacos and felt honoured to feature in the Champions League.

The Gunners travelled to Greece with a very youthful squad and were beaten 1-0. Despite the loss, manager Arsene Wenger insisted that he was proud of his young players, with several turning in very impressive displays.

"The manager told me just to enjoy it, and I thought I did quite well," Cruise said after the game, according to Press Association Sport.

"It is not bad making your debut in the Champions League."

Cruise also revealed that the media focus has been intensified over the last few days because of his famous name, shared of course with a certain Hollywood superstar.

"My mum phoned me and told me I was in all the papers," he added.

"I have definitely had stick for it over the years.

"While I was here, all the staff keep on coming up with names of the films he has starred in, but I just take it on the chin."
