Inter Striker Samuel Eto'o Satisfied With Victory Over Rubin Kazan
The striker is content to see his club through to the knockout phase of the competition, but won't reveal who he would like to play next...
Inter can breathe a sigh of relief, after securing a 2-0 win over Rubin Kazan on matchday 6 of the Champions League.
Mario Balotelli and Samuel Eto'o made sure of the result, with the latter admitting that he still has a lot of work to do to become a fan favourite.
"It was a victory that was born from a good performance," Eto'o revealed to TMW. "We ran a lot, and this served us well.
"Nine goals so far are not enough, and I must continue to work harder if I want to enter the hearts of the fans. I hope that I am considered a good player already.
"Who do I want in the last 16? I can't say, all that I can say, though, is playing like we did this evening will be difficult for whoever we get.
"It could be a small team, who could create headaches for us," summed up Eto'o.
The Nerazzurri will be looking to put last Saturday's loss in the league to Juventus behind them, when they take on Atalanta this weekend.
