The Bianconeri stopper apologises to the fans, who expected more from their troops...Juventus defender Fabio Cannavaro has spoken about how the 4-1 defeat at the hands of Bayern Munich in the Champions League is a night the 36-year-old would rather quickly forget.
The Italian international also apologised to the fans, who witnessed the Old Lady be bundled out of Europe's prestigious competition in emphatic fashion.
"Unfortunately tonight's match was one to forget," Canna told the club's official website, Juventus.it. "Especially since we had a 1-0 advantage, and were not able to win the match.
"I am sorry for the supporters who really wanted this competition, but after tonight, we end up playing in the Europa League."
He concluded, "It is a difficult moment, but we are Juventus and we must try to react and snap out of this starting on Sunday [against Bari]."
