AC Milan Vice-President Adriano Galliani: I Will Be Cheering For Inter On Wednesday Night
Galliani does not want to play against the Blues in the knockout stage and will be cheering for his cross-town rivals on Wednesday evening...
Having qualified for the next phase of the Champions League with a 1-1 draw with Zurich, AC Milan vice-president Adriano Galliani has given a quick thought as to who he would - and wouldn't - like the Rossoneri to play.
Galliani would like to "not meet" Chelsea, as he would be coming up against former Milan boss Carlo Ancelotti. He was also sympathetic towards rivals Juventus for missing out on the next stage, and will support Inter on Wednesday night.
"I knew that it was not going to be easy," Galliani told ANSA. "We had a few problems before the match, from Ronaldinho to [Kakhaber] Kaladze.
"I am disappointed that Juventus could not make it through.
"Tomorrow, I will support Inter, as we need to conserve the Italian team's spots in the Champions League," concluded Galliani.
