Player Ratings: Atletico Madrid 0-3 Porto

Porto easily brushed aside Atletico at the Vicente Calderon. Goal.com rates the players on show...

Hulk, FC Porto (Peace Cup)

ATLETICO MADRID

Asenjo - 5 - Not his best game between the sticks. Made a basic error that let in a goal, which turned out to cost his side.

Valera - 5.5 - Played some very nice passes around the pitch but could have done more to break up play in the middle of the field.

Juanito - 5.5 - Energetic and aggressive. The only problem was that he did not show this on too many occasions.

Dominguez - 5 - He looked as though he was a passenger at times but did play a couple of nice balls into the front men.

Perea - 6 - Did a lot of running and work off the ball. Was left exposed at times and this showed when Porto scored.

Cleber Santana - 5.5 - Got involved when he could but needs to be more vocal in the team. Players were running past him and he was not communicating with his team-mates.

Asuncao - 6 - Gets stuck in and this was good to see when heads were dropping in the Atletico team.

Maxi Rodriguez - 6 - Plays some nice passes but sometimes wastes the ball. Needs to work on touch and control in confined areas to make the most of his talent.

Simao - 6 - Lively as always but crossing was poor and he delivered some terrible corners. He will be disappointed and his frustration showed at times.

Forlan - 6 - Ran the Porto defence as much as he could but needs to be the first one at finishing practice in the morning.

Aguero - 5.5 - Poor performance from a gifted player. Showed some neat little touches but did little else.

Subs

Lopez - 5.5 - Injected some energy into a deflated team. Ran around and pressed, which was more than a lot of the home team's players did all night.

Juarado - N/A

Jose Reyes - N/A

PORTO

Helton - 6.5 - Splendid showing. Made some top quality saves and never looked threatened as he guarded his goal with his life.

Alves - 6.5 - Took the goal well and looked organised. Could have closed down attacking players faster.

Fucile - 6 - Had a fairly good game but got danced around on too many occasions for the away coach's liking.

Pareira - 6 - Quiet but played some good passes and made some vital tackles where they were needed.

Valeri - 5.5 - Worked hard all night and did a lot of running off the ball. However, that is all.

Meireles - 6 - Good performance, organised and solid but looked a little unfit at times.

Roque - 5.5 - Was not involved as much as he would have liked and allowed Atletico players to run on too easily, despite the scoreline.

Fernando - 5.5 - Got around the pitch quite well but failed to have any impact of real significance.

Cristian Rodriguez - 6.5 - Got all around the pitch. Made passes, tackles and runs. Needs to work on close control a little more and vision when on the ball.

Falcao - 7 - Very good display. Jumped at the chance to steal his goal and ran all night long making the Atletico defence think all the time.

Hulk - 6 - Brilliant strike for the goal but could have done more in the rest of the game. Needs to work on distribution to the wings.

Subs

Guarin - 6 - Looks a fantastic little player. Made a nuisance of himself as soon as he ran onto the pitch. Crossed, passed and got booked in under half an hour.

Varela - N/A

Sapunaru - N/A
