Sevilla coach Manolo Jimenez said his side were the better team in their 1-0 UEFA Champions League defeat Unirea Urziceni at the Steaua Stadium in Bucharest, but acknowledged that ultimately what matters is the final score.

An Ivica Dragutinovic own goal just before half time was the only goal of the game as Unirea's win gave them a great chance of qualifying, while Sevilla are left with a little more work to do in their final game against Rangers to secure top spot in the group.

"The stats count in favour of Sevilla has been overwhelming and we controlled the game, but the score is what counts," he said afterwards according to Marca.

"In football what counts is the result, we should congratulate Unirea, but by possession, play we were better and sometimes the result is unfair, but you have to score because that's what matters.

"Unirea's goal was an own goal and we had, among other chances, two that hit the woodwork."
