Eto'o is yet to score so far in this season's competition and returns to Camp Nou tonight for the first time since his summer transfer to the Nerazzurri. Should Eto'o finish on the winning side against his former team tonight that dream may have to wait for another season as the champions would face a possible exit and the Cameroonian insists that should the opportunity to score arise he will be sure to take full advantage.
"What I want is for people to enjoy my game, my desire is to defend the colours of Inter. I am yet to score in this season in the Champions League, but playing is also important. Hopefully I can achieve more than the Italian league, it would be very good for me and to win over the the fans: a final against Barcelona would be a dream," he declared.
"I will enjoy the game, I'll make that clear. But I want to convey that my job is to find opportunities to score goals and take them. If I have a chance to score, I will. I seek the joy of my team and the good of our club."
