Fiorentina coach Cesare Prandelli is pleased to have young striker Stevan Jovetic back at his disposal against Olympique Lyonnais on Tuesday, but has rejected calls to throw him straight back into the starting XI.

"Jovetic is available, but it is impossible to see him from the first minute after he's been out for three weeks," explained the Viola boss during a press conference.

"He will probably be on the bench. The important thing is that he has recovered."

Lyon came away with a slim 1-0 win earlier in the season against Fiorentina. Lately the French side have been struggling, but Prandelli is still wary of the threat they pose.

"I know them well - they have experience, strength, and, like all teams, can go through their periods of ups and downs," said Prandelli.

"Three days before they can play a dull game and then be brilliant. It can happen."

Lyon currently lead Group E with ten points, while the Viola lurk just behind with nine.
