Inter captain Javier Zanetti admits that he knew his team were going to win, despite being a goal down at half-time to Dynamo Kiev, on match day four in the Champions League.

The Beneamata worked hard to score two late goals through Diego Milito and Wesley Sneijder to secure maximum points, and move to the top of Group F.

"I always believed that Inter deserved this victory," the Argentine international told TMW after the match in Kiev.

"We started well, but then Dynamo found an avenue to goal and everything was all of a sudden made difficult.

"But we always believed in the win, knowing what damage we could do.

"What did we say during the break? To always believe in ourselves, because the match finishes when the referee blows the whistle three times, and the goals at the end demonstrate this.

He added, "Now, our attention will turn to the league, and then at Barcelona, where we can play for a draw, at least."
