Champions League : Andriy Shevchenko (Dynamo Kiev)
Dynamo Kiev striker Andriy Shevchenko admitted that his side did not have the experience of Champions League football to keep Inter at bay in their match day four clash.

The former Milan and Chelsea attacker opened the scoring, but late goals to Diego Milito and Wesley Sneijder ensured that the home side would record no points in the match.

"I think that we paid for our inexperience," Shevchenko told TMW post-match. "With so many young players in our team."

"We should have played to protect our lead from the first half, but with players who are not used to being involved in games of this calibre, these are risks.

"In the second half, Inter had lots of opportunities to score goals, but we didn't take advantage on the counter-attack.

"As for the group? There is still a lot to play for. If we express ourselves at the level that we have for the last few matches, we can fight to the end," Shevchenko concluded.

The Nerazzurri now sit on six points, whilst Dynamo Kiev are only two points behind, despite sitting at the foot of the Group F table.
