Our First Half Against Sevilla Was 'Incomprehensible' - Stuttgart Coach Babbel
The coach says he 'raised his voice' at the break...
The two sides finished level at 1-1 with Zdravko Kuzmanovic's fabulous equaliser cancelling out Jesus Navas' first half goal, and Babbel acknowldeged that his team were simply not good enough in the first half.
"Words fail me, because in the first half we played very badly, the worst performance of my team in a long time, and the best thing that happened was that we only went one goal down," Babbel told a press conference.
"At half-time I had to raise my voice, because the first half was incomprehensible. I told them to fight to be in the Champions League.
"I told them that only I should be afraid, the job that is in danger is mine, and not any of the players. The first half was not worthy of Stuttgart," he continued.
The draw leaves Stuttgart two points behind Unirea Urziceni, after four rounds of matches.
