Real Madrid defender Sergio Ramos says his side must continue to play like they did against Milan in their UEFA Champions League game at the San Siro.

The game finished 1-1 but Madrid dominated proceedings with some scintillating football, particularly in the first half, but a controversial penalty scored by Ronaldinho cancelled out Karim Benzema's goal.

"We were very good in the first half and then the Milan reacted seriously. We must continue in this line of play," Ramos was quoted as saying by AS.

The 23-year-old defender admitted that Brazilian opponent Ronaldinho showed some of his old form against Los Merengues and proved a worthy test for the full-back who had to be on his toes.

"I play where ever the coach [Manuel Pellegrini] tells me to and Ronaldinho is back in very good form," he commented.

Next up for Madrid is Saturday's city derby against fierce rivals Atletico Madrid.
