The defender wanted to claim all three points...Juventus defender Nicola Legrottaglie said that his team went to Munich to take away all three points, but will now have to focus on beating Israeli side Maccabi Haifa twice to advance to the knockout phase of the Champions League.
The match against Bayern Munich on matchday 2ended in a scoreless draw, and the Italian international admits that the Germans were a tough opponent.
"We are not satisfied because we wanted to win," Legrottaglie said to the club's official website, Juventus.it.
"We knew we would be playing against a difficult team, but we wanted to win. Now we must win the two matches against the Israeli side.
"In attack, Bayern have world-class players, and the fact that we did not concede much in defence is a good result.
"It was harder against Bayern then against Bordeaux, even though the French team is a good one."
The 32-year-old also reminded fans and the media that the Bianconeri are a good team, but are missing key players.
He continued, "We know that we are strong and that we have great players, but we must also wait for the whole team to be available.
"We have players like [Mohamed] Sissoko and [Alessandro] Del Piero who are key players, who have not played yet.
They are nearly completely recovered and soon we will have the full team."
