Juventus goalkeeper Gianluigi Buffon is hoping his side emerge with a strong result against Bayern Munich, but he is well aware that an upturn in fortunes will require a stable and cautious performance.
The Bianconeri are hoping to build and increase productivity on the pitch compared to recent results. Buffon has highlighted Bayern's main threats, but he appeared confident as he boarded the plane to Germany.
"It will be a difficult game for us, just like every game away from home in the Champions League," Buffon told Tuttosport.
"However, we will be playing them on an equal level.
"Bayern? The strength of their players, the history of the club creates fear. They have several players who are all great technically and have high European experiences."
Buffon is eager to place the 1-1 draw against Bologna into the hand of history, hoping for urgent and concerted action in the Allianz Arena.
"We want to do well and it's normal for the players to want to react positively after the draw against Bologna," added the goalkeeper.
"Of course, we hope for three points in Munich, but it's not as easy as people make it out to be."
