Barcelona Striker Thierry Henry Angry At Being Substituted
He admits to being 'upset' by getting substituted...
Following his sides 0-0 draw with Inter at the San Siro in the UEFA Champions League Barcelona striker Thierry Henry confessed that he was "angry" after being replaced by Andres Iniesta with fifteen minutes to go.
The French front man believed he was getting the better of a tiring Maicon and believes he could have made a telling difference had he remained on the pitch.
"I am angry about the change. I did not want to leave because when ever I had the opportunity I got down the wing and I could see in Maicon's eyes that he was tired," the 32-year-old said afterwards, as quoted by Sport.
Henry said that the draw was not a bad result for the Blaugrana who maintain their unbeaten start to the season. He also said he won't be confronting Pep Guardiola about his substitution as he said that his anger was a "thing of the moment".
