thumbnail Hello,

CR7 is ready to let his feet do the talking on the Stadio Olimpico pitch...

Much of the talk ahead of what is arguably the most hotly anticipated Champions League final ever has been devoted to who will win the personal battle between best player in the world contenders Lionel Messi and Cristiano Ronaldo.

Nevertheless, Manchester United's Portuguese phenomenon insists he will just be concentrating on his own game.

"I am 100 per cent focused on the game, I know that people want to know something about me and him [Messi] but I'm very focused for the game," Ronaldo told a room overflowing with reporters from across the world at the press conference ahead of the dream final between United and Barcelona.

"I hope to play well tomorrow because the pitch, the stadium, supporters - it's amazing, I look forward to playing here tomorrow and to winning the game.

"I think its going to be special."

Messi stole the show when the two went head to head in last year's Champions League semi-final, so you can bet that Ronaldo will be doing everything in his power not to get upstaged again tonight with the eyes of the world watching.
