Samu Won't Celebrate

Barcelona defender Gerard Pique has claimed that the Champions League clash against Inter is more important to the Blaugrana than the 'El Clasico' showdown in La Liga against Real Madrid. Barcelona are currently trailing Inter in Champions League Group F.

Former Milan goalkeeper, Enrico Albertosi believes that the current Rossoneri side can claim the Champions League crown this season, but only if they play without Dida between the sticks. Albertosi was blatantly critical of the Brazilian but hailed Juventus' Gianluigi Buffon.

Scottish champions Rangers have taken up the full allocation of 2,200 away tickets for their Champions League fixture against Sevilla. Rangers were fined £18,000 and ordered to pay costs to Unirea Urziceni after sections of their traveling support rioted at the Gheneca Stadium.

CL Over Serie A

Milan vice-president Adriano Galliani has admitted that, while catching Inter at the top of the Serie A table is important, he would rather see the Rossoneri lift the Champions League trophy in the Santiago Bernabeu next May.

Rangers & Unirea Fined

Both Rangers and Unirea Urziceni have been hit with fines for the crowd disturbances that arose during their recent Champions League clash in Bucharest. Rangers have been ordered by UEFA to pay £17,960 plus damage costs, while Urinea have been charged £7,180.
