Roma have shown they will not budge in the transfer market, giving Real Madrid a firm message by rejecting their €30 million bid for Mirko Vucinic.

La Gazzetta Dello Sport claims that the Giallorossi have received a number of bids for the Montenegrin hitman, but have rejected them all. The biggest came from Real Madrid, and Roma refused.

Vucinic has been outstanding this term and he has led the charge for his side in both the Champions League and Serie A. Los Merengues took note of the striker last season when his goals helped Roma to knock Madrid out of the Champions League.

Since then, the Spanish champions have been banging at the door, but I Lupi are not willing to let their prized asset leave.

It is believed that the club told Real Madrid: "There is nothing we can do until June at the earliest."

In addition, Roma have moved quickly to secure the futures of Juan, Christian Panucci and Alberto Aquilani. The Brazilian has already penned a new extension and the Italian duo are in line for new deals.

The Lupi are keen on keeping all their prized assets at the club as they aim for the Champions League and Scudetto.
