In the same spirit as their previous president Franco Sensi, Roma players are generous with their time over the holidays.

Recently, Matteo Brighi was in the news for his presence at a charity event and the hospital of Saint Eugene and on Tuesday, midfielder Alberto Aquilani visited the same hospital, according to romanews.eu.

The Italian international brought some gifts for the patients on the eighth floor and spent time with the children, giving them Roma hats, gloves, and t-shirts.

One of the young children had a message for Alberto, "stay with us and please play more," they pleaded.

Aquilani has been involved in lengthy contract negotiations with the Giallorossi, prompting speculation he will be leaving the club either during winter transfer window or in the summer.

Meanwhile, while leaving the hospital, Aquilani was asked about his physical condition and he simply responded: "I'm fine."

However, recent reports indicate the the 24-year-old is a doubt for this Sunday's match against Milan at the Stadio Olimpico.
