Mirko Vucinic was having one of his typical sluggish performances last Sunday and he was duly jeered by Roma fans during the second half of the game with Cagliari.

The Giallorossi turned around the game in the final minutes, after the Isolani had taken the lead lead, and the 25-year-old striker bagged the vital winner in stoppage time.

He celebrated wildly, running toward the Curva Sud and taking off his shirt and shorts. He was inevitably booked and it was feared he could even face a ban, but the Disciplinary Commision opted not to take further action yesterday.

However, Roman newspaper Il Messaggero reports today that Flavio Tucci, who was in the stands at the Stadio Olimpico, has now moved to sue Vucinic for obscene acts.

The 47-year-old man, who is an ex-referee and a big Lupi supporter, has explained his bizarre decision on Romanews.eu.

“I did it just to see if something will change in this country,” he admitted. “No one, not even Roma, have condemned this indecorous episode.

“I support Roma, but that celebration was out of place and it was offensive toward these colours.”
