Jeremy Menez has finally broken his silence yesterday and sensationally revealed to French newspaper France Football that he would welcome a return to his homeland if coach Luciano Spalletti will keep overlooking him.

The former Monaco ace joined Roma this summer, but has failed to settle in at the Stadio Olimpico, starting just four games so far.

Should the Giallorossi opt to offload the 21-year-old, director of sport Daniele Pradé has already pinpointed a duo of names that could take his place in the Eternal City outfit ranks.

Under-21 striker Pablo Daniel Osvaldo has grown frustrated at his lack of first team action at the Stadio Artemio Franchi and his agent Dario Decoud has frequently hinted that he could head for the exit door.

The Lupi have been reportedly tracking the Argentine native for several months and could launch a bid in January to bring him to the capital on loan.

However, they could otherwise swoop for Ascoli wide man Stefano Guberti, according to the Gazzetta dello Sport.

The 24-year-old joined the Marchigiani in 2006, making his Serie A debut in September and scoring his first goal against Milan.

Considering that his contract will expire next summer, Roma could snap him up on the cheap in the new year.
