The book has already caused plenty of controversy due to some of the revelations contained within its covers and now Il Talentino Di Bari could find himself in deeper trouble.

La Gazzetta Dello Sport claims Totti has called in a legal team to examine the book and check it for any defaming content which could damage his reputation. He is, after all, a Roma icon.

If damaging statements are found, then it is more than likely that Totti's lawyers will proceed with a legal case for libel.

The problem all revolves around an episode of a famous Italian television show, on which both Cassano and Totti appeared as guests back in 2001.

Totti has never quite seen eye to eye with Cassano since the latter's exit from the club back in 2006.

There was tension between them during the postponed game between Roma and Sampdoria three weeks ago and the Doria man could be in further trouble following his revelations.
