The Frenchman has failed to break into the starting XI following his summer move from Monaco, and he could be shipped out on loan.

Leggo claims Giallorossi coach Luciano Spalletti is unhappy with the hit-man's performance during the Roman derby against Lazio, when he was introduced as a substitute.

Menez missed two great chances to make the points safer after Julio Baptista gave I Lupi the lead. Although his lack of accuracy didn't affect the result too much, it was enough for the Spalletti to consider cutting his losses.

The idea is for Menez to go out on loan during the winter transfer window and Fiorentina could be his next port of call.

Roma are keen on Pablo Osvaldo and Giampaolo Pazzini. Both players have hardly been used by Viola coach Cesare Prandelli this term as Adrian Mutu and Alberto Gilardino are keeping them out.

A deal seems on the cards but it's down to I Lupi to convince the Artemio Franchi-based side to part company with one of their players.
