Former Milan winger and current President of the Montengro FA, Dejan Savicevic, has praised the Serie A pair of Roma's Mirko Vucinic and Fiorentina's Stevan Jovetic.

Vucinic recently scored a brace against Chelsea in the Champions League and Savicevic believes the former Lecce player is quite a threat, but dismissed the comparisons with his former teammate Marco Van Basten.

"I don't like this comparison," stated the Champions League winner. "Van Basten, he was a pure finisher, while Vucinic is part of the construction of the plays, serving his companions and other attackers. In any case he is one of the most powerful striker in Europe."

Savicevic also commended Viola youngster Stevan Jovetic, another Montenegro international.

"I don't know if Fiorentina is the best place for him because they have many good strikers, but certainly in the future he will be one of the best players in Europe."

Both players will likely be in action this weekend as Vucinic prepares for the Rome derby against Lazio and 19-year-old Jovetic is set to start against Cagliari at the Stadio Sant'Elia.
