Roma forward Mirko Vucinic scored twice at the Stadio Olimpico as Roma ended a string of poor results by beating Chelsea 3-1.

The Giallorossi badly needed a victory, so Luciano Spaletti changed things around from his usual 4-5-1 formation, into a 4-4-2 and the result was positive.

"I was surprised as this was the first time I played that way alongside (Francesco) Totti, but it worked well," beamed the Montenegro international, according to Channel4. "Even if we had played the usual system I think we would have won anyways, as the approach and mentality were crucial."

Vucinic's first strike was a well-struck long range drive, that replays showed was moving at 91 km/h and Vucinic had an intriguing response when asked about it.

"I don't even go that fast in my car," joked the former Lecce player.

Roma will now look to build on this splendid result as they want to continue to turn their dismal season around.
