Milan coach Carlo Ancelotti insists his side are playing better football than both Inter and Juventus.
The Nerazzurri have been blowing hot and cold in Serie A and on the continent, achieving mixed results and performances. Many have argued the poor displays have been down to injury, however, Ancelotti doesn't agree and he thinks the only problem hampering his side has been a lack of consistency.
"Milan has a number of great quality players and, as a result, we are able to play better football, even if Inter and Milan have other characteristics.
"The other two have plenty of strength and consistency, but in terms of quality we are able to do something better."
With the transfer window just days away, things are expected to be moving fast at San Siro, but Ancelotti doesn't feel a midfielder or a defender is required.
"We have paid for Alessandro Nesta's absence and we took Philippe Senderos to make up for this," added Ancelotti.
The Rossoneri will be jetting off to Dubai for their annual tour in the new year for a week, before returning back to Serie A action on the 11th January.
